Americana Suit by OKEY is a winner!   Leave a comment

The Americana Suit by OKEY was styled and created by phobos Optera and is an excellent example of a fully styled and flexible outfit right out of the folder onto the avie. Just out of the shower and in a hurry? Right click the folder and “add to outfit,”  and you’re done! If yur wearin’ hair and jewelry, all the better!  But no decisions on what to wear on what layer, its all figured for you!

The main theme of this outfit is patriotic America. The Jacket is the main focus of this creation, and is adorned in stars and stripes in colors of red, white and blue on black leather. “God Bless America” is stenciled on the back of the jacket above and below a round section of the American Flag. The jacket has prim collar, lapels, shoulder straps, rolled sleeves and a jacket bottom with belts and buckles. They are all bearing the stars and stripes. Half finger gloves add a nice touch.  Take off the jacket and you will see a sleeveless white tank that stops about an inch above the pants, leaving the mid section of the wearer showing a bit of skin.  Look around the back of the tank and you will see the Harley Davidson American Eagle Logo in full glory sewn on the back of the tank….very awesome add,  phobos!

Now, the jeans. Dark indigo blue with accurate light blue and white worn spots on the knees. The goldish orange thread that says dungarees is evident along with the brass snaps on the watch pockets just inside the front regular pockets. A real attention to detail! Around back, more snaps holding the tops of the back pockets and more gold and orange thread. A worn mark in light blue and white on the left pocket AND a brown patch  on the right pocket. Prim cuffs with turn ups trim the legs up nicely. Finishing up very smartly on the feet are a pair of red “chuckers” with white trim and untied laces which can pass for a pair of Chuck Taylors in my book any day of the week!

And fellas, if what you got ain’t enuf, there is even a prim “bulge” you can wear to make your package look, well, BIGGER! But all in all, I think this outfit is truly a winner in my book. I kinda felt like Peter Fonda in “Easy Rider” toolin’ down the road on my HD chopped out!

So run down to OKEY and take a look at this and other fine “fully complete” outfits. I have several I will show you in upcoming editions! Don’t forget to tell them Burly Tigerpaw sent ya!
